CIPHE (Inserm – CNRS – AMU) is pleased to announce the renewal of its ISO 9001 certification, highlighting the continued commitment of its teams to rigorous and recognized quality standards. Certified continuously since 2016, CIPHE strengthens its position as a leading Resource, Service, and Research Center for mouse models in biomedical research.

The ISO 9001 certification covers a wide range of strategic preclinical research activities, including:

  • Construction of DNA vectors

  • Production of cell lines and murine embryonic stem cells

  • Generation of genetically modified mice

  • Consulting in genetic engineering and transgenesis

  • Housing, breeding, and care of mouse models

  • Cryopreservation, decontamination, and revival of mouse models

All other CIPHE activities are also fully aligned with ISO 9001 standards, reflecting the institute’s overall commitment to excellence and rigorous quality. In particular, the Immunomics platform and the Infectious Disease Modeling platform (BSL2/BSL3 – COVID-19 and emerging viruses) will also adopt this quality framework, with certification planned for 2026.

This renewal demonstrates CIPHE teams’ dedication to providing researchers with a structured, reliable, and high-quality environment. We sincerely thank all staff involved in this collective and demanding effort, which contributes to the robustness of scientific results and the quality of projects conducted at CIPHE.
