CIPHE Joins the RD-factory Program Led by CCP and Dr. Radislav Sedláček

CIPHE is proud to announce its participation in the RD-factory program, a voluntary initiative led by the Czech Centre for Phenogenomics (CCP) under the leadership of Dr. Radislav Sedláček. This collaborative program is dedicated to addressing rare genetic diseases by uniting leading research centers, patient organizations, and foundations.

Launched in 2022, the RD-factory program has already gained strong momentum, with over 80 nominations of rare genetic conditions submitted by researchers, patients, and advocacy groups. From these, 13 diseases were prioritized in the first round, and a second round of project selection is currently ongoing.

By joining the initiative, CIPHE brings its recognized expertise in precise model generation, reinforcing the program’s capacity to accelerate translational research and therapeutic development for patients with unmet medical needs.

The RD-factory program has been acknowledged by patient organizations in the Czech Republic as a highly valuable initiative and carries the potential to evolve into a pan-European effort, further amplifying its impact on the rare disease community.

This collaboration underscores CIPHE’s continued commitment to supporting innovative preclinical research and contributing to advances that directly benefit patients.
