On Wednesday, November 20, 2025, CIPHE will have the pleasure of welcoming a group of second-year students from the Professional Bachelor program in Bio-Industries and Biotechnology (BIBBI), Biotechnology and Immunology track for an immersive on-site visit. More about the program here.

During their visit, students will explore CIPHE’s advanced technological platforms, participate in hands-on workshops, and engage in discussions with our scientists and engineers. The day is designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of the workings of a national and European research infrastructure / Research Support Unit (UAR), as well as the diverse careers, missions, and training pathways represented at CIPHE.

The visit will include interactive sessions showcasing our integrated approaches and cutting-edge technologies, such as:

  • Genetic engineering and murine transgenesis: for developing novel preclinical models of human diseases and paving the way for new therapeutic strategies.

  • Immunomics system: for analyzing immune responses in pathological contexts.

  • Infectious disease modeling: to decode host-pathogen interactions and advance biomedical understanding.

These workshops will allow students to appreciate the interdisciplinary nature of preclinical research and its critical role in driving biomedical innovation.

Beyond presenting CIPHE’s activities, the visit offers a valuable opportunity for direct exchange between platform professionals and students, supporting skills transfer and professional development. It will also help students explore new career perspectives beyond traditional academic laboratories and biotech environments.

This initiative is part of CIPHE’s ongoing commitment to education, scientific outreach, and fostering the next generation of researchers. We look forward to sharing our expertise and inspiring these future professionals in biotechnology and biomedical research.
